Didn't this come out 2-3 months ago? I feel shame for being the first to post on news this old.

The V-Max concept web site is still running

I agree about the scoops - loose them or make them work. Why not offer turbo as a standard feature ?
Alien influences

Oh, and I suppose you don't like the new acid-filled brake lines, either ?
Agree "Stay the course" doesn't work.

". I would like to see more of these cruiser-sportbikes (a la Griso) on the market." kpaul thinks you are spot on. The old GPTB cruisers aren't going to sell to you young Gen Y males. Both of my daughters boyfriends say the will never buy an old fashioned cruiser. They like the Buells though
Yep take it to the bank..the Ducati 1098 is the last hurrah for the V-Twin
Re: Alien influences

No, but I'd love that extending jaw for those pesky pedestrians.
Where were you back in the late '70s when Harley was "going under"?

Without a GMP to lead them in the proper direction THEN, just look at their Fate........

And these young men will never, ever age.
Re: Alien influences

Come on now, don't be too hard on them. At least it's not another cheeseball Panhead Duoglide look-a-like. I think they'd sell a few, the FZ1 in unrepentent Anime` style and Speedy Triple, Buell and other streetfigher-esque bikes sell pretty well up here as do Bandits and your own Z-Rex, 919, Ducati Monster and what-not.

Beside, didn't our own Great Mutilated Prophylactic spout off about the return of the V-4? How can Yamaha,....er...Star go wrong? just have their Tough-guy models shave their goatee's into soul-patches, spike their hair and adopt a soulfull look instead a "dangerous 1 %'r-gonna-kick-your-ass" look and they're good to go
He was still an ache in his dad's balls in the 70's
Re: Agree

Well, when you ride 50 miles a week, the shear extreme amount of use allows you to build up a tolerance to the sportbike ergos; thus allowing you to perform above and beyond those your own age.

Plus, you b!tch t!ts add an extra level of cushion when you are tucked in and laying against the tank.
Re: Alien influences

Yeah, but those Zrexs, FZ1s, S3s and such don't look like they are about to coccon you and stick an egg down your throat.
Re: Agree

Those boys probably won't buy any motorcycles at all. So who gives a flying f()ck what non-riders think?
Re: Agree

Or they'll buy the gixxer thou. for a first bike, cuz otherwise your a puss, get no training, and wreck with in the first year (or month, or week). They'll sell the bike and years later they will be the ones that will say to someone that actually rides "how can you ride a motorcycle, they're dangerous."
Re: Agree

My t!ts can't touch the tank because my stomach gets there first. Works for me.
Re: Agree

As they age they won't be buying GPTB cruisers i.e Harley FXs softails, Sporsters and the like. P.S. On the Ninja thread I responded with a economics lesson about the time lag between budget deficits and higher interest rates. I used your graphs by the way and a graph of budget deficits to prove my thesis. Actually it's not my thesis its the belief of 99% of the worlds economists. The other 1% is employed by **** Cheney, W, and Faux News. W's weasels believe all that is on Faux News. If you take an Economics class at any university they will tell you what I am telling you trust me..
Re: Agree

me too.
Re: Agree

Ok, give me intrest rates projections for the next 5 years.

Also give me deficit numbers if a repub wins in '08 and if a demo wins in '08.

What when will the unemployment figures be?

And give me a solution to the current Iraq situation.
Re: Agree

What does the M stand for in GMP?
Re: Agree

...do you REALLY want me to answer that?
Re: Agree

"On the Ninja thread I responded with a economics lesson about the time lag between budget deficits and higher interest rates. "

Which has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that the two factual assertions you made were 100% wrong, you will not admit it, and now you are moving the goalposts. Weasel.
