dear bikers
i would like some opions regarding to purchasing a motorbike as a learner
i am 6ft 1. long legs and arms
i am very much interested in the 2010 yamaha xvs 650 a v-star classic
please tell me if this bike is as good as it looks positives and negatives.owner riders please reply.
Or if any one can suggest any other bike.
im also interested in bonneville triumph 650.
please reply asap. thankyou forest.:cool: 8)

Er, only if you are really good with a wrench since they quit making those in the 80s and they weren't all that reliable in the first place.

Pack a lunch and look up the 'New Rider' "sticky". Loads and loads of good info on bikes and gear for newbies.

If you're talking about a NEW 900 Bonneville I'd say absolutely, they're excellent trouble free and forgiving bikes. If you do in fact mean a 650 then they're beautiful bikes but they need a lot of TLC, probably more then you wish to give,

These days, with so many bikes to choose from, you almost can't see the forest for the trees.

If I were you, I wood leaf some time and read the New Rider sticky as 'Rod suggested.

And please, don't be a sap and start barking about the wisecracks. It goes with the territory.
Kansas, or Oklahoma?
