Yet another use for the HD V-twin...

And you thought you've see every possible use for that old 45-degree lump we all love to hate. Check this site out; the manufacturer says they can get 350+ horsepower out of it:

Sundoulos World Motorsports

I know, it's not a motorcycle, but it has the soul of one. Maybe two. Wonder what it sounds like?

Finally a use for armchaps!

They will prevent paint scuffage when you drive with your arm out the window.

This car will allow your babe to win every single weenie bite contest you enter!
Hey! Think one could graft that thing onto a sandrail?

Or if you could fit it in a Geezer Glide does that mean you could haul two *****s around?

I was thinking more like a golf cart...or cement mixer.
kavenger just found his kcar to go with his kbike.
kpaul likes it kpaul likes it a lot
I'd like to see some explanation as to how they think they're going to cool that thing. An Ultra with almost no fairing and wide open engine bay runs hot stock. These guys are going to boost the horsepower with performance upgrades, which only makes the twin run even hotter. And this is "Twintwin" is going to work inside a car engine bay? Did I miss something, like the giant propeller they used to cool the radial engines the site refers to?
Phew, it's hot in here...

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe you have to hire a ride along mechanic to squirt the engine bay down with H2O every few seconds.

Or maybe it's like one of those "autocross" cars, that's supposed to only run for 10 minutes max....

Anyway, pretty silly concept.

Probably could have saved a lot of money by just buying a Lotus Elise.

Since 350 total horsepower calculates to 175HP per engine I'd say this idea is pushed well beyond the design limit for the HD engine. Even if you could cool it it wouldn't take the abuse very long.

And big $$$ when those Sportster motors finally hatch. I've see one-off cars that use Suzuki 1200cc motors, Yamaha V-Max motors, stuff like that, but NEVER a brace of HD v-twins.

Hell, the car would be just as much fun if it had x10 5 hp Briggs & Stratton lawnmower motors. At least they're fan cooled.
